17th-century mansion in Sesto San Giovanni, set within Parco Nord park
Historical Grounds and Architecture
Grand Hotel Villa Torretta dates back to the 17th century and is an impressive mansion located next to Milan's Parco Nord. The castle-like building has its own park and an arched historical courtyard. Guests can walk directly from the hotel into Parco Nord, the largest park in Milan.
Dining and Restaurant
The on-site restaurant, Il Vico della Torretta, is located on the top floor and serves Italian and Milanese cuisine from Monday to Friday lunch and dinner. This restaurant has earned awards for its dishes, such as the Risotto Milano named best risotto with zafferano. Al fresco dining is offered in the historical courtyard during warm weather.
Wellness and Fitness
The full-service spa offers back, neck, and full body massage treatments. A well-maintained fitness center with gym equipment is available for guest use. The hotel also provides bicycle rental for exploring the area.
Guest Rooms
Rooms are spacious and have classic design with luxurious fabrics and dark-wood furniture. Each air-conditioned room includes complimentary internet access and satellite TV. Some rooms preserve original 17th-century frescoed walls and ceilings.
Location and Convenience
Bignami metro station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, providing direct links to central Milan in about 30 minutes. The hotel is easily reached from the A4 motorway and is a 20-minute drive from the Fiera Milano exhibition centre. Free parking is available on site, including two electric vehicle charging stations.

Thoughtful Touches!
I appreciated the complimentary prosecco that was sent to my room as an apology for a slight wait during check-in. It was a lovely surprise that made my experience extra special.

Charming Gym Area!
The gym had a quaint charm, with just a few pieces of equipment that were perfect for a quick workout. The peaceful atmosphere, despite being compact, made exercising enjoyable.
